Meetings scheduled for May 13, 18, and 19

OLYMPIA – The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold several meetings in May, including a special Fish Committee meeting, a full Commission virtual meeting, and an in-person workshop in Walla Walla.

The Commission will host their regularly scheduled virtual meeting on May 13 where the full Commission will discuss wolf-livestock deterrence rule making, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's (WDFW) 10-year Recreation Strategy for WDFW-managed Lands and the Duckabush Estuary Restoration Project. The Fish Committee will also convene on May 13 to discuss Willapa Bay policy development.

These online meetings will be available to the public to watch or listen via webinar or conference call.

The full Commission will also meet in-person at the Marcus Whitman Hotel at 6 W. Rose St. in Walla Walla on May 18-19. The Commission workshop will be held Renaissance meeting room. They will discuss Commission processes, explore commissioner roles, and discuss future policy considerations.

This meeting is open to members of the public attending in-person. It will not be recorded or streamed. Minutes from the meeting will be available on the WDFW website before the next Commission meeting. More information and a full agenda will be posted on WDFW's website soon.
