OLYMPIA -- Recreational oyster harvesting at Potlatch State Park on Hood Canal will close at 12:01 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 16) until further notice, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced today.

The beach is being closed because the harvestable number of oysters have been taken.
