News release Feb. 5, 1998
Training sessions will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 21 in Room 172 of the Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington St., here and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 28 at the WDFW Region 5 Office, 2108 Grand Ave., in Vancouver.
The training is required for those who wish to serve as Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators (NWCO), responding to citizen complaints about animals such as raccoons, opossums, skunks and coyotes. The WDFW refers nuisance wildlife complaints to the operators, who trap and relocate the animals for a fee paid by the citizen requesting the service.
