OLYMPIA - A popular Clark County boat ramp used by anglers fishing the Columbia River will be closed to access for two weeks, beginning Oct. 14.

Langsdorf Landing, owned and maintained by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), will be closed Oct. 14-28.

Chris Spangler, WDFW access manager, said the department will replace the boat ramp and loading float.

"We anticipate some additional one-day closures in November while contractors finish the parking lot and loading dock," he said.

Spangler encourages boaters to check WDFW's website at http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/ for updates on closures.
