Harvest profile

Not much is known about clam populations on this beach, but surveys conducted in the 1990s indicate harvestable amounts of native littleneck clams and Manila clams.

There are some oysters available on this beach.

Directions

(Olympia, Shelton) travel north on Highway 101 along Hood Canal. Pass through the town of Hoodsport and continue for about four miles to South Lilliwaup. The beach is across the highway and east of the Lilliwaup post office (see beach map). Access to the beach is from the shoulder of the highway and parking is very limited.

From the north (Port Angeles, Kingston) travel south on Highway 101 through the town of Eldon and continue for another six miles. The beach is across the highway and east of the Lilliwaup post office. Access to the beach is from the shoulder of the highway and parking is very limited.

Facilities

None. There is a store in Lilliwaup and public restrooms at Hoodsport.
