Scenic Beach State Park

Clams, mussels and oysters CLOSED to harvest until further notice due to conservation concerns.

Harvest profile

Due to damage to the oyster bed in 2010, this beach is closed to shellfish harvest for conservation reasons. Annual surveys are performed to track the oyster population's recovery. Clams are closed to prevent potential damage to the oysters as a result of digging activity. When open, the clam season and oyster season will be the same.
