Annual shooting restrictions

Annual shooting restrictions start May 15 and go through Sept. 30 on the Wenas Wildlife Area, which includes the Sheep Company Target Shooting Range and the Durr Road Target Shooting Range.

Dispersed target shooting and shooting at designated target ranges will continue to be allowed from sunrise to 10 a.m. initially. After 10 a.m., all target shooting is prohibited under RCW 77.15.160. This temporary restriction will continue until a full shooting closure goes into effect later this summer due to fire danger.
