New blog post: Pack territories - A wolf’s “neighborhood” and how they use it

Tomorrow, Aug. 13, is International Wolf Day. A wolf pack's territory can tell us a lot about their recovery in Washington State. This new blog post explains how understanding how wolves use their home range can help estimate progress toward recovery for the species, partner with public and private landowners to conserve and manage habitat to be beneficial for wolves and ungulates, and help mitigate wolf-livestock conflicts in the future.
