The department has recently documented two additional wolf depredations on livestock by the Smackout pack – on Oct. 14 and Oct. 21. Both depredations resulted in the death of a cow. The latest depredations bring the total to 3 by the pack since Aug. 20, 2018. The department will provide more details on the depredations in a later update.
