WDFW's habitat engineering team supports habitat restoration, protection, and enhancement by providing review and input, conceptual design, and full design and construction management for habitat projects across Washington.

These experts can assist with project design, surveying, and permitting efforts for project proponents around the state. The habitat engineering team also provides a variety of technical and project assistance for grant programs that work to fund restoration projects, as well as guidance and publications to inform construction and development of projects in and around state waters.
