Bring the kids to fish at the annual Spokane Kid's Fishing Day event on May 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is a great way to get kids hooked on fishing and parents don't have to have any gear or fishing knowledge for the kids to learn. There are lots of volunteers on-hand to take care of everything. The $10 registration fee covers fishing, a t-shirt, and a fishing rod the kids can take home.
