We have selected a small subset of high lakes that have reasonable access that will allow you to dip your toes into high lakes adventure. Some of these lakes require a short hike while others can be accessed by vehicle. These starter lakes are intended to give you the feeling of how alpine lakes fishing works and help you determine whether you are interested in pursuing this sector of recreational fishing further.
