Twin Sisters - Big

This large 100 plus  acre lake sits in a scenic setting bounded by flowering meadows on the south end and framed by mountains to the east. Anglers will have to put their time in to catch sometimes finicky but healthy medium-sized Eastern Brook Trout. There are a limited amount of campsites. The area is popular with equestrians and can be most directly approached from the Bumping Lake side. Can be quite mosquito prone in the summer.

Getting here:

From 410/Chinook Pass Hwy turn onto the Bumping River Road & in 12 miles at the Bumping Campground continue on dirt road FS Rd #1800. At the junction take the left fork (FS Rd #1808) continuing on this road to the end. Walk to the Twin Sisters Trail Head #980 located in the Deep Creek Campground. Hike approx. 1.5 miles to the Twin Sisters Lakes.
