Depression Lake

Depression Lake is a drainage basin developed to regulate water levels of Baker Lake reservoir, the uppermost pool of the Puget Sound Energy Baker River Hydroelectric Project.  There are several campgrounds in the area operated by the U.S. Forest Service and PSE.

Anglers should use caution when fishing around the intake forebay sectioned off by the orange boom.

Note: trout stocking at Depression has been suspended until WDFW and co-managers can identify an alternative that will not interact with native Steelhead and Sockeye in Baker Lake.

Two-pole fishing is allowed
