Ward Lakes

These two small lakes are 9½ miles north of Republic at 3,625 feet elevation in the Bacon Creek drainage. They are part of the Colville National Forest. Internal combustion engines are prohibited by Ferry County ordinance. Spring angling action should be good for Eastern Brook Trout in years where winterkill does not occur.  Brook Trout count as part of the TROUT daily limit in the Ward lakes.

Two-pole fishing is allowed

Shoreline access: Good - Shoreline access is limited.
