2018/2019 Sport Fishing Rules Pamphlet updates and clarifications

STEELHEAD is CLOSED with the following waters:
CHELAN RIVER (Chelan Co.);
COLUMBIA RIVER from Priest Rapids Dam to Chief Joseph Dam;
ENTIAT RIVER (Chelan Co.) from mouth to the Icicle Peshastin Irrigation Footbridge;
METHOW RIVER (Okanogan Co.) and all tributaries, including: Twisp, Chewuch, and Lost Rivers;
OKANOGAN RIVER (Okanogan Co.) and all tributaries, including: Salmon Creek and the Similkameen River;
WENATCHEE RIVER (Chelan Co.) from mouth to Icicle Rd. Bridge;
WENATCHEE LAKE (Chelan Co.);
SWIFT RESERVOIR (Skamania Co.)

DEWATTO RIVER (Mason Co.) from mouth to Dewatto-Holly Rd. Bridge STEELHEAD (Hatchery) Year-round Sat. before Memorial Day-Aug. 15: Catch-and-release. Oct. 1- Oct. 31: Catch-and-release.

ROSS LAKE TRIBUTARY STREAMS (Whatcom Co.) - (additional section) and their tributaries from mouths to 1 mile upstream (except Ruby and Big Beaver creeks) - ALL SPECIES CLOSED WATERS.

SKYKOMISH RIVER (Snohomish Co.) - (additional section) from boat ramp below Lewis St. Bridge at Monroe to Lewis St. Bridge - ALL SPECIES Aug. 1-Nov. 30: Night closure. Anti-snagging rules. DOLLY VARDEN/BULL TROUT Sat. before Memorial Day-Jan. 31: Min. size 20". May be retained as part of TROUT daily limit. OTHER TROUT Sat. before Memorial Day-Jan. 31: Statewide min. size/daily limit, except CUTTHROAT TROUT and wild RAINBOW TROUT: min. size 14". OTHER GAME FISH Sat. before Memorial Day-Jan. 31: Statewide min. size/daily limit. SALMON June 1-July 31: Min. size 12". Daily limit 4 hatchery CHINOOK only of which 2 may be adults. Sept. 16-Nov. 15: Min. size 12". Dialy limit 2. Release CHINOOK and CHUM.

WALLACE RIVER (Snohomish Co.) - from 363rd Ave. SE/Reece Rd. (Dike Rd.) to 200' upstream of water intake of salmon hatchery, changed to: from 363rd Ave. SE/Reece Rd. (Dike Rd.) to 200' DOWNSTREAM of water intake of salmon hatchery

WYNOOCHEE RIVER (Grays Harbor Co.) - from 400' downstream of barrier dam near Grisdale to the dam - ALL SPECIES CLOSED WATERS.

FALLS CREEK (Okanogan Co.) - from the mouth upstream to the falls approx. 0.15 mile - ALL SPECIES CLOSED WATERS

SPRUCE CREEK (Yakima Co.) - whole stream - ALL SPECIES CLOSED WATERS

TILTON RIVER (Lewis Co.) - TROUT: Year-round: Statewide min. size/daily limit, except release wild CUTTHROAT TROUT and wild RAINBOW TROUT. OTHER GAME FISH: Year-round: Statewide min. size/daily limit.

TUCANNON RIVER (Columbia/Garfield Co.) - mouth is defined as: water south of a line of sight from a sign with an orange triangle along the shoulder of Highway 261 (northwest of the Tucannon River), southeast across to the eastern,unsubmerged shoreline of the Tucannon River. (The embayment between the eastern shoreline of the Tucannon River and the rock bluff to the east that has an affixed orange channel navigation marker, along the south shore of the Snake River, is considered part of the Snake River.)

WASHOUGAL RIVER (Clark Co.) - from the Mt. Norway Bridge to the bridge at Salmon Falls: TROUT Sat. before Memorial Day-Mar. 15: Min. size 14". Daily limit 2. STEELHEAD (Hatchery) Sat. before Memorial Day-Mar.15: Min. size 20". Daily limit 3. OTHER GAME FISH Sat. before Memorial Day-Mar. 15: Statewide min. size/daily limit.

ROOSEVELT LAKE (Ferry/Grant/Lincoln/Okanogan/Stevens Co.) - from Grand Coulee Dam to Little Dalles power line crossing - geographic extent has changed to include: Hawk Creek downstream of the falls at Hawk Creek Campground and the Spokane River up to 400' below Little Falls Dam.

SPOKANE RIVER (Spokane Co.) - from SR 25 Bridge to 400' below Little Falls Dam: is now managed as the adjacent waters of Lake Roosevelt.

Touchet River (Walla Walla Co.) - Columbia River Salmon/Steelhead Endorsement required.

Walla Walla (Walla Walla Co.) - Columbia River Salmon/Steelhead Endorsement required. Barbless hooks required for Salmon/Steelhead.
