All Puget Sound shrimp fishing closed for season

Action: This is a reminder that any remaining Puget Sound shrimp fishing areas that had not been closed earlier in the season are now closed until next spring.

closed until next spring.

Effective date: 8:00 p.m. October 15, 2004

Species affected: All shrimp species.

Location: All waters of Puget Sound.

Reason for action: Standard seasonal conservation closure to protect ovigerous (egg bearing) shrimp.

Other information: The Puget Sound shrimp season will reopen next spring.
