Amend recreational fishing rules at Cases Pond; Pacific County

Action: Increase daily bag limit of trout to 10 fish with no size restrictions; open to all anglers.

Effective dates: One hour before official sunrise on Nov. 1 to one hour after official sunset on Nov. 30, 2014.

Species affected: Rainbow Trout

Location: Cases Pond (Pacific County)

Reason for action: Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will increase winter recreational opportunity in inland waters throughout the Puget Sound and SW Washington regions by stocking more than 300,000 catchable-size (10 to 12 inches) or larger Rainbow Trout.

Other information: Cases Pond will be closed to fishing on Dec. 1, 2014. The lake will re-open to fishing for juvenile anglers only on the 4th Saturday in April and trout harvest rules will revert to: No min. size; daily limit 5.
