Changes to ocean salmon season

Action: Marine Area 2 will open 7 days per week.

Effective date: 12:01 a.m. Aug. 3 through Sept. 23, 2012

Species affected: Chinook and coho Salmon.

Location: Marine Area 2

Reason for action: Sufficient quota and guideline remain in ocean areas to allow expanded opportunity.

Other information: Daily limit of 2 salmon, of which not more than one may be a chinook salmon. Release wild coho.
