Changes to ocean salmon season

Action: Anglers can keep up to 2 hatchery or wild coho as part of their 2 salmon daily limit in Marine Area 1. Anglers can keep up to 1 hatchery or wild coho as part of their 2 salmon daily limit in Marine Area 2.

Effective date: For Marine Area 1: 12:01 a.m. Sept. 3 through Sept, 30, 2012. For Marine Area 2: 12:01 a.m. Sept. 1 through Sept. 23, 2012

Species affected: Coho salmon.

Location: Marine Areas 1 and 2

Reason for action: Sufficient quota and guideline remain in ocean areas to allow expanded salmon angling opportunity.
