Chinook daily limits increase to 2 fish in Marine Area 11

Action: Allows retention of up to 2 hatchery Chinook.

Effective date: Aug. 7 through Sept. 30, 2020

Species affected: Chinook salmon

Location: Marine Area 11

Rule: Salmon; Chinook - min. size 22". Other salmon species – no min. size. Daily limit 2. Release wild Chinook.

Reason for action: Sufficient recreational harvest quota remains available to allow for an increased daily limit of Chinook. Current projections indicate the fishery will remain within allowed ESA impacts.
