Chinook salmon daily limit change in Marine Areas 1 and 2

Action: Anglers can keep up to 2 chinook as part of their 2 salmon daily limit in marine areas 1 and 2, release wild coho.

Effective Dates: Aug. 7, through Aug. 13, 2011

Species affected: Salmon

Location: Marine areas 1 and 2

Reason for Action: Enough chinook remain in the quota to liberalize the chinook daily limit to two per day.

Other information: Marine Areas 1, 2, 3, and 4 are open to fishing 7 days per week with a 2 salmon daily limit, release wild coho.
