Columbia River – Buoy 10 coho limit increased

Action: Allows up to 3 adult hatchery coho as part of the daily salmonid limit at Buoy 10.

Species affected: Adult hatchery coho.

Area: Mainstem Columbia River from Buoy 10 upstream to the Tongue Point/Rocky Point line.

Effective date: Oct. 3 through Dec. 31, 2014.

Daily bag limit: Minimum size is 12 inches. Daily salmonid limit is 6 fish. Up to 3 may be adults, of which no more than 2 may be adult Chinook or hatchery steelhead or 1 of each. Release all wild coho.

Reason for action: Hatchery coho remain available for harvest.
