Elliott Bay open to salmon fishing

Action: Opens Elliott Bay salmon season.

Effective date: 12 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13 through 12 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16,, 2021.

Species affected: Salmon.

Location: Inner Elliott Bay waters, east of a line from Pier 91 to Duwamish Head.

Rule: Salmon daily limit is 2. Chinook minimum size is 22". Release chum.

Reason for action: In-season updates indicate that higher than expected returns will allow for an additional weekend of fishing opportunity in Elliott Bay.
