Action: Extend salmon season on the Columbia River from Wells Dam to the Highway 173 Bridge in Brewster.
Effective dates: Sept. 8 through Oct. 15, 2010.
Location: From Wells Dam to the Highway 173 Bridge in Brewster.
Species affected: Salmon (sockeye and chinook)
Reason for action: To allow anglers to retain incidentally caught sockeye and/or salmon during steelhead fishery.
Other information: Daily limit six salmon. Minimum size 12 inches. Up to three adult chinook may be retained of which only one may be a wild adult. Release all COHO.
Important angler notes:
(1) Selective gear rules are in effect, except bait is allowed.
(2) Night closure is in effect
