Fishing opens for flatfish species in
portions of Quilcene and Dabob Bay

Action: Recreational fishing opens for flatfish (except halibut) in a portion of Quilcene and Dabob Bay

Effective Dates: July 1, 2015

Species affected: Flounder, sole and other flatfish (except halibut)

Location: Marine Area 12 north of a true east line from the mouth of Turner Creek to the Toandos Peninsula in waters shallower than 120 ft. (20 fathoms).

Reason for action: The Fish and Wildlife Commission adopted this regulation at the June 12-13 meeting to provide additional recreational fishing opportunity while meeting conservation objectives for those species.
