Fishing restrictions lifted on the South Fork Nooksack River

Action: Remove fishing restrictions on South Fork Nooksack River and tributaries.

Effective date: Oct. 1, 2015

Species affected: All species.

Location: South Fork Nooksack from the mouth to Skookum Creek, including tributaries.

Reasons for action: The South Fork Nooksack spring chinook have concluded spawning for the season, thus the conservation concern no longer applies.

Other information: Angling for salmon and gamefish will reopen as listed in the Sport Fishing Rules 2015/2016 pamphlet edition, FISHING IN WASHINGTON.
