Goose Creek to open season early for Wild Bill Goose Days in Wilbur

Action: Opens gamefish season early for juvenile anglers, senior anglers, and anglers with a disability who possess a designated harvester companion card.

Effective date: May 17 through May 24, 2019.

Species affected: All gamefish.

Location: Goose Creek (Lincoln Co.), within the city limits of Wilbur.

Reason for action: This will allow for the youth fishing event during the Wild Bill Goose Days to take place, and allow for a few additional days of opportunity for anglers to catch fish stocked for the event prior to the scheduled opening of May 25.

Additional information: Goose Creek within the city limits of Wilbur will remain open for gamefish for juvenile anglers, senior anglers, and anglers with a disability who possess a designated harvester companion card through October 31, 2019.
