Locations:
- The Iceberg Point portion of Marine Area 7 South will remain closed June 6-7 and June 20-21. It is defined as that portion of Marine Area 7 South that is west of a line projected due south from Point Colville on Lopez Island and east of a line projected due south from Cattle Point on San Juan Island (see closure area map).
- The remainder of Marine Area 7 South is open June 6-7 (see rules).
- All portions of Marine Area 7 South are closed June 20-21.
Marine Area 7 South Iceberg Point closure map, June 6-7, 2025:

Rules for open area:
- The daily limit is 80 spot shrimp and a total weight limit of 10 pounds of all shrimp species combined (whole shrimp).
- If retaining only spot shrimp, shrimp heads may be discarded in the field. If retaining any non-spot shrimp, all shrimp heads must be retained in the field until ashore and finished fishing for the day.
- 1-inch minimum mesh size for shrimp pots during this shrimp fishery.
- Gear may not be set or pulled from a vessel from one hour after official sunset to one hour before official sunrise.
Reason for action: Due to greater than anticipated effort and good catch rates, closing the Iceberg portion of Marine Area 7 South is necessary to keep recreational harvest of spot shrimp within State/Tribal management agreements.
Additional information: The closure of the Iceberg Point Area means that all of Marine Area 7 South is closed during the previously announced dates of June 20-21.
