November 2, 2012
Action: Increase the daily bag limit for coho.
Location: Naselle River, from the Hwy. 101 Bridge to the Crown Mainline (Salme) Bridge
Effective dates: Dec. 1, 2012 through Jan. 31, 2013.
Species affected: Salmon.
Daily limits: 6 fish, up to 3 adults may be retained, of which only 2 may be wild coho. Release chum and wild chinook. Minimum size 12”.
Reason for action: Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has determined that the coho return to the Naselle River and the Naselle Hatchery is sufficient enough to meet conservation goals and hatchery egg take needs while allowing additional harvest to occur in the river.
