Long Lake Park waters to open for
one-day youth fishing event


Action: Open Long Lake Park waters (Thurston County) to fishing by juveniles on April 21, 2007.

Effective dates: 8:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. April 21, 2007.

Species affected: All game fish.

Location: Long Lake, Thurston County.

Reasons for action: The one-day opening allows kids to fish during a Fishing Kids event. Long Lake is an Opening Day lake, and does not open to the general public until April 28.

Other information: Area open to fishing April 21 includes waters adjacent to Long Lake Park between the fences at the north and south boundaries of the swim beach, from shore to the swimming area buoy line.
