East Fork Lewis from mouth upstream to top boat ramp at Lewisville Park - Closed to all angling.

East Fork Lewis River from top boat ramp at Lewisville Park upstream to 400 feet downstream of Horseshoe Falls - Closed to angling daily from 2 pm. to one hour before official sunrise.

Reason for action: The East Fork Lewis is experiencing extremely low flows and above normal water temperatures that may affect survival of ESA-listed wild summer steelhead handled during this fishery. Water temperatures can be higher on the lower river, necessitating a complete closure. The upper river remains open to fishing in the morning hours when water temperatures are cooler.

Other information: Night closure is in effect. Per permanent rules, closed waters from posted markers at the lower end of Big Eddy to 100 feet upstream of Lucia Falls and from 400 feet to 400 feet upstream of Moulton Falls. In addition, closed waters from 400 feet below Horseshoe Falls upstream to source.
