Lower Samish River re-opens to fishing Oct. 13

Action: Re-opens the lower Samish River to sport fishing.

Effective date: Oct. 13, 2018

Species affected: All species

Location: Samish River from the mouth (Bayview-Edison Rd.) to I-5

Reason for action: Hatchery broodstock needs for chinook salmon have been met.

Additional information: Fishing Seasons revert back to permanent regulations as listed in WDFW Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet. Please refer to https://wdfw.wa.gov/ for further information on seasons.
