Lower Snohomish River coho season correction

Action: Corrects pamphlet error that listed incorrect closing date for the salmon season.

Effective date: Oct. 16 through Oct. 31, 2024.

Species affected: Salmon (coho).

Location: Snohomish River, from mouth (Burlington-Northern railroad bridges) (including all channels, sloughs, and interconnected waterways, excluding all tributaries) to Pilchuck River. Catch Record Card (CRC) 850.

Salmon rules: Daily limit two. Minimum size 12 inches. Release Chinook and chum. Use of bait is prohibited. Single point barbless hooks required. Anti-snagging rule in effect.

Reason for action: The salmon season was incorrectly listed in the Washington Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet and Fish Washington mobile application as ending Oct. 15.
