Marine Area 1 to close to salmon fishing


Action: Catch Record Card Area 1 closes to salmon fishing.

Effective dates: 2:00 p.m. August 17, 2008.

Species affected: Chinook, coho and pink salmon.

Location: Catch Record Card Area 1 from Leadbetter Point to Cape Falcon Oregon.

Reasons for action: The salmon quota for Catch Record Card Area 1 has been taken.

Other Information: Catch Record Card Areas 2, 3, 4, and Buoy 10 will remain open.
