Marine Area 10 salmon under rules listed in pamphlet, no emergency rules in effect

Action:  Clarifies that Marine Area 10 salmon rules are as listed in the rules pamphlet, there are currently no emergency rules in effect.

Effective date:  Immediately, until further notice.

Species affected:  Salmon

Location:  Marine Area 10

Current salmon rules (Oct. 1 – Oct. 31, 2023):

  • Entire area, except year-round piers listed below: 

No min. size. Daily limit 2. Release Chinook. (Harbor Island has a Night closure in effect, as well as the Anti-snagging rule and only fish hooked inside the mouth may be retained.)

  • Year-round piers – Bremerton boardwalk, Illahee State Park Pier, Seacrest Pier, and Waterman Pier:

Chinook min. size 12”. Other salmon species, no min. size. Daily limit 2 including no more than 1 Chinook.
