Marine areas 1 and 2 to include wild
coho in the two salmon daily limit

Action: In Catch Record Card Areas 1 and 2 the daily limit will change to include wild coho in the two salmon daily limit.

Effective dates: Wild coho retention starts Sunday Sept. 1 in Area 1 (Ilwaco) and Friday Sept. 6 in Area 2 (Westport).

Species affected: Coho salmon

Location: Catch Record Card Areas 1 (Ilwaco) and 2 (Westport)

Reason for action: Enough quota remains in each ocean sport sub area coho quota to allow the daily limit to include keeping wild coho in Areas 1 and 2.

Other information: Area 3 (LaPush) and Area 4 (Neah Bay) will remain a selective fishery for coho.
