Marine Areas 2, 3, and 4 to open
seven days a week for salmon fishing

Action: Catch record areas 2, 3 and 4 will be open 7 days per week.

Effective dates: August 17 to September 16.

Species affected: Chinook, coho and pink salmon.

Location: Catch record areas 2, 3 and 4 from Leadbetter Point to the Sekiu River.

Reasons for action: Sufficient salmon remain on the quotas to allow liberalization to 7 days per week.
