Marine Areas 2, 3, and 4 to open seven
days a week for salmon fishing

Action: Marine areas 2, 3 and 4 will open 7 days per week.

Effective Dates: July 23, 2010 until further notice.

Species affected: Chinook, coho and pink salmon.

Location: Marine areas 2, 3 and 4.

Reason for action: Sufficient salmon remain on the quota to allow liberalization to 7 days per week.

Other Information: Marine area 1 is already open 7 days per week. In Marine Area 4 beginning Aug. 1 also release chinook east of the Bonilla-Tatoosh Line.
Beginning Aug. 1 in Area 4 release chum.
