Mill Pond will open to senior citizens
during Free Fishing Weekend

Action: Temporarily suspend the juvenile only regulation at Mill Pond (near Auburn) on June 9, 2007 to allow senior citizens 62 years of age and older to participate in a fishing derby sponsored by the City of Auburn and the Green River Steelhead and Trout Club.

Effective date: June 9, 2007

Species affected: All game fish

Location: Mill Pond, King County (near the City of Auburn)

Reason for action: WDFW regulations stipulate that only juveniles under the age of 15 may fish at Mill Pond. In order for senior citizens to legally participate in the fishing the derby on June 9th the current regulation must be temporarily suspended.
