Neah Bay closes to salmon fishing
beginning Sept. 3


Action: Neah Bay (Marine Area 4) closes to salmon fishing

Effective dates: 11:59 p.m., Sept. 2, 2004

Species affected: All salmon

Location: Marine Area 4 (Neah Bay)

Other Information: Final catch numbers will be assessed and additional salmon fishing opportunities, if any, will be announced no later than Sept. 10. Salmon fishing rules in Marine Areas 1-3 remain unchanged.

Reason for action: The coho salmon quota is expected to be reached.
