Neah Bay re-opens for chinook

Action: Anglers will be allowed to keep one chinook as part of their salmon daily limit in Marine Area 4.

Effective date: Aug. 21, 2015

Species affected: Chinook

Location: Marine Area 4, Neah Bay.

Reason for action: The fishery in Marine Area 4 still has some remainder on the chinook guideline to allow for one chinook as part of the daily limit.

Other information: Daily limit of two salmon, only one of which may be a chinook, plus two additional pink salmon. Release chum and wild coho.

Chinook may not be kept east of the Bonilla Tatoosh line.

The daily limit in Marine Area 1 will remain at two salmon only one of which may be a chinook, release wild coho.

The daily limit in Marine Area 2 will remain at two salmon, release wild coho.

The daily limit in Marine Area 3 will remain at two salmon only one of which may be a chinook, plus two additional pink, release wild coho.
