Actions:
1. Night closure will be in effect for the Okanogan River from its mouth to the Highway 97 Bridge immediately upstream of mouth.
2. Selective gear rules will be in effect, except that it remains lawful to fish from floating device equipped with a motor on the Okanogan River from mouth to the Highway 97 Bridge immediately upstream of mouth.

Reason for action: The recreational fishery for hatchery steelhead in the Okanogan River (including this area) will open Oct. 1. Once the steelhead fishery opens, night closure and selective gear rules (except that it remains lawful to fish from floating device equipped with a motor) are required to be consistent with regulations for steelhead.
Other information: Daily limit six salmon; but no more than 2 adults may be retained. Minimum size 12 inches. Release coho. Although salmon fishing closes Oct. 15, the night closure and selective-gear rules remain in effect for steelhead
(except that it remains lawful to fish from a floating device equipped with a motor).
