Big Quilcene River (Jefferson Co.) - corrects longitude for the GPS waypoint listed in area description:  From the mouth to the downstream terminus of of WDFW public access easement (lat 47.816759, long -122.89084)

  • From the mouth to Hwy. 101 Bridge:

All Species:  All species Internal combustion motors prohibited. Only 1 single-point barbless hook allowed. Feb. 16-Apr. 30 Bait prohibited. Sat. before Memorial Day-Aug. 31. Bait prohibited.

Trout:  Sat. before Memorial Day-Apr. 30 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Except: Release wild rainbow trout. Cutthroat trout min. size 14”

Steelhead:  Mar. 1-Apr. 30 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Sat. before Memorial Day-Oct. 31 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Nov. 1-Last Day of Feb. Min. size 20”. Daily limit 3.

Dickey River (Clallam Co.) - From Olympic National Park boundary upstream to the confluence of the east and west forks:

Trout:  Sat. before Memorial Day-Apr. 30 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Except: Release wild rainbow trout. Cutthroat trout min. size 14”.

  • From Olympic National Park boundary upstream to Dept. of Natural Resource's Oxbow Campground boat launch:

All species:  Only 1 single-point barbless hook allowed. Internal combustion motors prohibited. Feb. 16-Apr. 15 Bait prohibited. June 1-Aug. 31 Bait prohibited.

Trout:  June 1-Aug. 31 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Except: Release wild rainbow trout. Cutthroat trout min. size 14”. Sept. 16-Apr. 15 Statewide min. size/daily limit. Except: Release wild rainbow trout. Cutthroat trout min. size 14”

Other game fish:  Year-round Statewide min. size/daily limit.

Salmon:  Feb. 1-Aug. 31 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 4 including no more than 2 adults. Release wild adult Chinook, wild adult coho and sockeye. Sept. 1-Sept. 15 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 6. Up to 4 adults including no more than 1 wild Chinook may be retained. Release wild adult coho and sockeye. Sept. 16-Dec. 15 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 6. Up to 4 adults including no more than 1 wild Chinook and no more than 1 wild coho may be retained. Release sockey.

 

Skagit River (Skagit Co.) - 

  • Between a line projected across the thread of the river 200' above the east bank of the Baker River and line projected across the thread of the river 200' below the west bank of the Baker River:

All species:  Sept. 16-Sept. 30 Night Closure. Single-point barbless hooks required. Bait Prohibited.

Salmon:  Sept. 16-Oct. 31. Min size 12". Daily limit 2. Release Chinook, chum, and wild coho

  • From a point 200' upstream of the mouth of the Baker River to the Hwy. 530 Bridge at Rockport:

All species:  Sept. 16-Sept. 30 Night Closure. Single-point barbless hooks required. Bait Prohibited.

Salmon:  Sept. 16-Oct. 31. Min size 12". Daily limit 2. Release Chinook, chum, and wild coho

 

Skykomish River (Snohomish Co.) - From 1,000' downstream of Reiter Ponds outlet to 1,500' upstream of Reiter Ponds outlet:

Sol Duc River (Clallam Co.) - 

  • From mouth to concrete pump station at Sol Duc Hatchery:

All species:  Internal combustion motors prohibited. Only 1 single-point barbless hook allowed. Feb. 16-Apr.30 Bait prohibited. July 16-Aug. 31 Bait prohibited.

Trout:  Year-round Statewide min. size/daily limit. Except: Release cutthroat trout and wild rainbow trout.

Salmon:  Feb. 1-Aug. 31 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 4 including no more than 2 adults. Release wild adult Chinook, wild adult coho and sockeye. Sept. 1-Sept. 15 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 6. Up to 4 adults including no more than 1 wild Chinook. Release wild adult coho and sockeye. Sept. 16-Dec. 15 Min. size 12”. Daily limit 6. Up to 4 adults including no more than 1 wild Chinook and no more than 1 wild coho may be retained. Release sockeye.

  • From concrete pump station at Sol Duc hatchery to Hwy. 101 Bridge upstream of Klahowya campground:

Stillaguamish River, North Fork (Snohomish Co.):

  • From mouth to Hwy. 530 Bridge at mile post 28.8 (Cicero Bridge) (clarifies the 530 Bridge crossing at mile post 28.8 for the first pamphlet section)
