Action: Opens Razor clam season on Copalis Beach only.

Effective date: 12:01 p.m. Dec. 24 through 11:59 p.m. Dec. 26, 2015

Digging is only allowed from: 12:01 p.m. through 11:59 p.m. each day.

Species affected: Razor clams

The specific low tides for this opener:

Dec. 24, Thursday, 5:47 p.m.; -1.2 feet, Copalis

Dec. 25, Friday, 6:30 p.m.; -1.3 feet, Copalis

Dec. 26, Saturday, 7:12 p.m.; -1.1 feet, Copalis

Location: Copalis Beach, which extends from the Grays Harbor north jetty to the Copalis River,and includes the Copalis, Ocean Shores, Oyhut, Ocean City and Copalis areas.

Reason for action: Harvestable numbers of razor clams are available, and marine toxin levels have been determined to be safe.
