Recreational spot shrimp fishing reopening
in Marine Areas 8-1 and 8-2


Action: Recreational spot shrimp fishing will reopen for one day (Wednesday, May 21) in Marine Areas 8-1 and 8-2.

Effective date: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014.

Species affected: All shrimp species including spot shrimp.

Location: Marine Areas 8-1 and 8-2.

Reason for action: Sufficient recreational spot shrimp quota remains for one more day of fishing.

Other information: The Hood Canal and Discovery Bay Shrimp Districts will be open on May 21 as well.
