Salmon fishing opens south of Foulweather Bluff
and Olele Point


Action: Opens salmon fishing.

Effective Date: 12:01 a.m. Aug. 16, through 11:59 p.m. Aug. 31, 2014.

Species affected: Salmon.

Location: Marine Area 9 (Admiralty Inlet), south of a line from Foulweather Bluff to Olele Point.

Reason for action: This area is closed during the chinook mark-selective fishery in compliance with state and tribal management plans. The chinook mark-selective fishery ends on August 15. Surplus coho are available for harvest.

Other information: Daily limit is 2 salmon. Release chinook and chum. Shoreline anglers are reminded to respect private property adjacent to Salsbury Point Park. Anglers should consult the Fishing in Washington, Sports Fishing Rules pamphlet for specific regulations for the Edmonds Fishing Pier.
