Action: Closes salmon fishing.
Effective date: July 8, 2021, until further notice.
Species affected: All Salmon.
Location: Marine Area 7
Reason for action: Estimates of landed catch to date indicate that anglers have caught the allotted mark-selective Chinook quota (1382) agreed to in this year's List of Agreed Fisheries (LOAF). WDFW Staff will continue analyzing the data collected throughout the fishery and will reevaluate if there are remaining impacts for future opportunities.
Additional Information: The Bellingham Bay fishery as described in the 2021-22 Sport Fishing Rules Pamphlet will continue as planned.
