Sport clam and oyster season re-opens at
Frye Cove County Park


Action: The sport clam and oyster fishing seasons at Frye Cove County Park will re-open.

Effective date: Jan. 1, 2010 until further notice.

Species affected: All clams and oysters.

Location: Frye Cove County Park. The park is located in Thurston County on Eld Inlet.

Reason for action: This Thurston County Park has re-opened to the public, and the recreational clam and oyster fishery can resume on its former schedule (open Jan.1 through May 15).

Fishers must have a current Washington fishing license, appropriate to the fishery. Check the WDFW "Fishing in Washington" rules pamphlet for details on definitions and regulations.
