Action: Opens sport clam, oyster, and mussel harvest at Illahee State Park.
Effective dates: March 1 through June 30, 2025
Species affected: All clams, oysters, and mussels.
Location: Illahee State Park, Kitsap County.
Reason for action: The clam, oyster, and mussel season at Illahee State Park is being shifted one month earlier to open on March 1, 2025, to address congestion and crowding issues in July. This beach will retain a three-month clam, oyster, and mussel season beginning March 1, and running through June 30, 2025.
Additional information: Please see our website for more information regarding clam and oyster seasons on public beaches. For additional information on shellfish harvest safety and growing area boundaries, please visit the Washington Shellfish Safety Map.
